Stuff & Things


*I can't believe that May is almost over. I don't want this time of year to fly by, but it always does. We have some fun things coming up. Our anniversary on Tuesday & then my b-day in June. Really hoping that it warms up soon. I'm ready for Summer. Bring it on.

*Got a cool green nail polish this week. I will be doing my nail files tomorrow.

*Cleaning out some closets & getting rid of stuff. Things that don't fit anymore or I just don't like them anymore. Old letters.

*Reading a new book by Laura Childs~"Ming Tea Murder".

*Thinking about making cookies tomorrow night.

 *Got some Mike's Hard Lemonade~Watermelon. So I think I'll be having 1 tomorrow night.

Fibro update


Tomorrow I am going to see my fibro doctor. I have lots of questions for her. I made a list. I haven't seen her in 3 months or so. I've been trying to drink apple cider vinegar with warm water. It doesn't taste good at all, but I'm hoping I will get use to it. I know it's good for digestion & I've also heard it's good for fibro. I've been having lots of digestion problems the past few days. I also want to order a magnesium spray that I've heard helps aches & pains. I'm hoping that will also help. Trying to be natural, but I might start seeing pain management. I think I'm ready to try some other things.

We went to Cape Cod for the weekend. We got there around 9pm on Friday, so we really didn't get to do too much.

We went to the beach yesterday. It was cool, so we had on coats & hats.

Stuff & Things


*Heat~It's really hot here today. It was over 90, but this weekend will be 60 & I'll be freezing. The cats were being lazy today from the heat. Nice to see them not fighting.


*Shows~I started watching some old entertainment shows again. Extra & Inside Edition. I watched them for a long time & then had a kid & ended up giving them up & watching Disney shows.

*Vacuuming~I have a thing about vacuuming. I really vacuum like 3x a week. If I leave it out all the time I will vacuum every day. We have rug throughout the house & we need new 1s & I hate cat hair, crumbs & other stuff.

*Allergies~I've been sneezy & having sinus problems. We have white dandelion fuzz flying around our yard & gathering on the grass. It looks like snow.

Yesterday we went to a restaurant in our old town. I don't think Tara had ever been there. It's an Italian restaurant. We took these pics. It seemed like we were in there forever. They were really slow, I guess because they were busy.

Happy Mother's Day

I hope you all had a great day. I did. I woke up to banana bread & chai tea in bed. We went to an Italian restaurant in our old town. We took his parents out to eat. Then went to visit my parents. It was raining so heavy all day. Kind of a bummer. Pics to come tomorrow.

Happy Mother's Day Eve


I hope everyone has a nice Mother's day. We are taking Anthony's Mom out to eat. We are going to an Italian restaurant in our old town. We haven't lived there in over 9 years. So we are going to show Tara our old house & the lake we lived near. Then we are going to see my parents. Hope you all have a nice day.

Fibro awareness Day

Let's get this out there. There are people in so much pain that they can't function. I nap twice a day & never get everything done that I want to. I want people to be aware that we want to live normal lives, but we really can't. We don't want pitty or sympathy, just understanding. That we aren't the same people that we use to be. I've tried so hard to find some type of routine that works for me. That isn't easy either. So I am going to try yoga more often & maybe reiki. I'm pretty open to new things.
